Training

Train Your Team

Content security training for every member of staff, not just technical roles. Most incidents begin with an everyday decision, so the people making those decisions are the ones best placed to prevent them. If you work alone, take it yourself — the decisions are still yours.

Why this matters

Your team makes security decisions every day — opening an email, choosing a password, sharing a file. Incidents begin in someone's ordinary working day, and that is exactly where training works.

Courtesy of ConvergentDS and OOONA, this Content Security Training helps teams recognize everyday risks and understand the simple actions that protect valuable content. It is written for everyone in the building, not for security specialists.

The training ends with a quiz and a certificate of completion. That gives you a record of who has been trained and gives each person a clear account of what they learned — useful for onboarding, for annual refreshers, and for any customer who asks how your team is trained.

What it covers

  • Password safety — why reused and shared passwords are the easiest way in, and what to do instead.
  • Suspicious activity — how to recognize something that doesn't look quite right, and who to tell when it happens.
  • Email use — the everyday habits that keep phishing and attachments from becoming an incident.
  • IT practices — updates, devices, access and storage: the routine things that quietly protect content.
  • Responding to incidents — what to do in the first hour, so a small problem doesn't become a large one.

OOONA and ConvergentDS

ConvergentDS developed the curriculum and OOONA hosts it on their platform. The training is free. You will need an OOONA account to access it, which also costs nothing.
